I know what I bring to the table,
so trust me I’m not scared to eat alone. ~ Anonymous
Come share in my bounty,
I say with a sideways smile.
I have tidbits and tastes aplenty
to tease and please and beguile.
My feast was made for two
for this was what was intended.
How tragic for such a fine feast
to be so abruptly ended.
Speaking as one who has eaten
too many meals alone,
I will launch into your ether
no fear for what is unknown.
Come climb between my sheets;
my arms await your abundance.
Find your hearth and home within me;
my heart is your heart’s sustenance.
Come. Join me.
Yours,
